Entry Colorist for Indie Feature

Feature Film Color Grading Atlanta, GA entry Budget: Backend percentage

Hey Atlanta filmmakers, we're looking for an entry-level colorist to join our independent feature film crew. This is a dramatic thriller, a character-driven story with some really unique visual opportunities. We shot it ourselves and now we need someone with a good eye to help us refine the look and feel. As our colorist, you'll be responsible for establishing the overall aesthetic with guidance from the director, performing primary and secondary corrections, and ensuring visual continuity throughout the film. You'll need to work closely with our editor to integrate the graded footage. We're looking for someone who has their own color grading software, preferably DaVinci Resolve, and a good understanding of grading principles. Please have a reel or a portfolio of previous work, even if it's student films or short projects, that shows off your skills. This is a great opportunity to get a feature credit and really make your mark on an ambitious project. This is a deferred compensation role, meaning you'll receive a percentage of the film's backend. We anticipate post-production work to begin in late summer, with flexible hours that we can discuss. We're a small, passionate crew and excited to find the right person to bring our vision to life.
