Color Grading for Pilot
We’re seeking a talented freelance Colorist for a deferred compensation role on an upcoming dramatic pilot. This isn't your typical indie drama, it's a character-driven story with some unique visual elements, requiring a nuanced touch to enhance the emotional arc. We're looking for someone who can elevate the naturalistic look of the piece while maintaining a consistent visual language. Your main responsibilities will include color correction, grading, and ensuring final deliverables meet broadcast standards. We're looking for someone with at least mid-level experience in color grading, a strong understanding of color theory, and proficiency with industry-standard software (DaVinci Resolve preferred). Please send us your reel showing your eye for storytelling through color. While we're not providing gear, we'll ensure you have all the necessary footage and project files. Shoot dates wrapped in late April, so we're looking to start post-production in late May/early June. Flexible hours as long as deadlines are met. This is a great opportunity to get a credit on a project with strong festival potential, working with a passionate independent production team.
