Senior VFX Artist, Indie Feature

Hey everyone, Naomi here. I'm a Production Sound Mixer, and I'm helping a good friend with an urgent hire for their upcoming independent feature film. It's a gripping psychological thriller with some really unique visual moments that demand a talented eye. Think subtle, atmospheric effects that enhance the story, not distract from it. We're looking for a Senior VFX Artist based in Los Angeles to join our team. You'll be primarily responsible for compositing, rotoscoping, and a bit of motion graphics. We need someone who can work independently and deliver high-quality work efficiently. Given the indie nature of the project, problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude are a must. We're seeking someone with extensive experience in feature film VFX, evidenced by a strong, relevant reel. You should provide your own workstation and software licenses. Shoot dates are TBD, targeting a late summer/early fall start, and we're anticipating 8-10 hour days when active. This is a paid position, offering $100-200 per day depending on experience.
