Art Department for Web Series

Hey everyone, we're looking for an enthusiastic Art Assistant for an upcoming indie web series shooting in NYC. It's a dark comedy, kind of quirky and surreal, about a group of roommates trying to navigate their bizarre apartment building. We're on a tight budget but looking to create a really unique visual world, so creativity and resourcefulness are key. Your main responsibilities will include assisting our Production Designer and Art Director with set dressing, prop sourcing, fabrication, and general organization within the art department. You'll be helping to bring our vision to life, so a good eye for detail and a can-do attitude are super important. While we're not requiring a comprehensive reel for this entry-level role, any examples of creative projects, set work, or prop making you've done would be a huge plus. We're aiming to shoot late May through early June, likely 3-4 days a week, mostly 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing transportation to and from set, and basic craft services. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on an independent production and make some cool art. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
