Assistant Editor, Supernatural Thriller Short

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a skilled Assistant Editor to join our independent production team for an upcoming supernatural thriller short film. This project delves into themes of isolation and psychological dread, with a creepy, atmospheric tone that will rely heavily on meticulous editing to build tension. Your role will be crucial in organizing footage, creating dailies, syncing audio, and preparing sequences for our lead editor. Experience with Avid Media Composer or Premiere Pro is a must. While a reel isn’t strictly required for this specific role, please highlight any previous work where you’ve contributed to a narrative project. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for storytelling. The shoot dates are tentatively late June, exact post-production schedule to follow, but we anticipate about 1-2 weeks of work, roughly 8-10 hour days. We'll provide all necessary software and a comfortable workspace. We're a small, dedicated crew excited to bring this chilling story to life.
