Entry-Level Camera Op, Vancouver Corporate Video
Looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Camera Operator to join us for an upcoming corporate video project in Vancouver. We're creating a dynamic, engaging promotional piece for a tech company, focusing on innovative solutions and their team's collaborative spirit. It's a great chance to build your reel and get some hands-on experience on a professional set outside of traditional narrative work. Your main responsibilities will involve operating our primary camera package, assisting with setup and breakdown, and helping ensure all shots are properly framed and exposed. This is a collaborative environment, so good communication is key. We're looking for someone with their own basic camera package (DSLR/mirrorless with relevant lenses, tripod) and a basic understanding of camera settings and shot composition. While it’s entry-level, any previous experience on set or a short reel demonstrating your skills would be a huge plus. Shoot dates are approximately late April/early May, likely 2-3 full days. We’ll be providing craft services, lunch, and all necessary lighting and sound equipment. This is a partnership opportunity, offering co-producer credit and a share of the back-end profits, making it a great way to invest in a project and see potential returns. Reach out with your resume/CV and a link to any work you've done.
