Entry-Level VFX Artist, Music Video (Remote OK)

Looking for an enthusiastic entry-level VFX Artist to join our team for an upcoming independent music video project. This video is for an alternative pop artist and has a dreamy, surreal aesthetic, think early Gorillaz mixed with psychedelic animation. We're aiming for something visually striking and unique. Your main responsibilities will involve creating and integrating digital effects, rotoscoping, green screen keying, and potentially some basic 3D elements to enhance the otherworldly vibe. We're open to remote work for this position. We're looking for someone with a passion for visual effects, a good understanding of industry software (After Effects, Nuke, Blender, etc.), and a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills, even if it's student work or personal projects. No specific gear is required, just your own workstation and software. The shoot dates are tentatively planned for late July, and post-production will follow, with flexible hours as we collaborate. This is a volunteer position, but meals will be provided during any on-set days, and you'll receive a copy of the final video for your reel. It’s a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a cool project and make some good connections.
