Camera for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm a grip working on an upcoming music video for a synth-pop artist. We're shooting a visually dynamic, high-energy track with a retro-futuristic aesthetic. Think neon lights, classic synths, and cool choreography. It's going to be a fun one with a lot of creative potential for the camera department. We're looking for a sharp Camera Operator to join our team. Your main responsibilities will include operating the camera, executing precise shots according to the DP's vision, and ensuring all footage is technically sound. This isn't a DP role, it's about being incredibly hands-on with the camera. You should have your own camera package suitable for music video production (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket, Sony FX series, Canon R series, or similar, with a basic lens kit). Experience with dance or performance-based visuals is a plus, but not essential, as long as you're adaptable and have a good eye. Please have a reel demonstrating your operating skills ready. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 full days in late July/early August in Atlanta, with exact dates to be confirmed soon. We're looking at 10-12 hour days. Crafty and a meal will be provided on set. Compensation is $300-$500/day, depending on experience and equipment provided. Looking forward to hearing from you!
