Camera for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm looking for a passionate Camera Operator for an indie music video project shooting in Brooklyn. This is a volunteer, passion project for an emerging indie artist, so we're looking for someone excited to build their reel and contribute creatively. The video is for a soulful, slightly melancholic R&B track with a dreamlike, intimate aesthetic. We're aiming for a strong visual narrative to complement the song's emotional depth. We're open to unique visual ideas and someone who can bring a fresh perspective. Your primary responsibility will be operating the main camera, collaborating closely with the director to achieve the desired shots, and ensuring technical execution. We're looking for someone with some previous set experience, whether on shorts or other music videos. Ideally, you'd have access to your own camera package (e.g., mirrorless, DSLR, or entry-level cinema camera) and basic lenses, along with a firm grasp of camera settings and shot composition. Please provide a link to your reel or samples of your work. Shoot dates are TBD but will likely be 1-2 days in late May, with flexible hours. We'll provide craft services and a great opportunity to connect with a dedicated team.
