Camera Operator, Web Series (Miami)

Hey there! We’re putting together a short, independent web series, a quirky dramedy exploring the lives of young professionals navigating Miami's art scene. It's got some fun characters and a visually engaging script. We're looking for a skilled Camera Operator to join our small, enthusiastic crew for an upcoming project. Your main responsibilities will include operating the primary camera (likely a Blackmagic or similar cinema camera), executing various camera movements, and working closely with our DP to achieve the desired visual style. We'll need you to be comfortable with both handheld and tripod operation, and capable of quick adjustments on set. We're looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience on narrative sets, ideally with some web series or short film credits. Your own camera package (body, lenses, basic support) is a definite plus, though we do have some gear available as well. A strong reel showcasing your operating skills and visual storytelling is essential. Shoot dates are approximately 5-7 days in late July, mostly during standard daylight hours. Location will be around the Miami metro area. Meals and some on-set essentials will be provided. Compensation is via points in the production plus deferred payment.
