Camera for Short Film

We need a skilled 1st AC to join our upcoming dark comedy short film. This project is a character-driven story about a bizarre misunderstanding at a funeral, featuring a quirky cast and a visually engaging, slightly off-kilter tone. Your immediate focus will be on ensuring sharp focus pulls and maintaining our camera equipment. Key responsibilities include camera build, maintenance, lens changes, focus pulling, and managing camera support gear. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of 1st AC experience, a strong reel showcasing your work, and ideally, experience with Arri or Sony camera systems. While we have a camera package, familiarity with owner/operator gear is a plus. We anticipate a 2-3 day shoot towards the end of November 2026, with flexible pre-production prep.
