Camera for Music Video

An independent production is seeking a skilled 1st Assistant Camera (AC) for an upcoming music video project in Nashville, TN. This project is for an established pop-country artist, featuring dynamic performance shots and stylized narrative elements. We're aiming for a high-energy, polished look that combines the artist's vibrant stage presence with compelling storytelling, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a visually rich production. Key responsibilities include precise focus pulling, camera build and breakdown, lens changes, and basic camera maintenance. You'll be working closely with our Cinematographer to ensure all shots are technically perfect and efficiently executed. We need someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have their own basic AC kit (tools, tape, markers, etc.) and a strong understanding of various camera systems, particularly cinema cameras. A reel or examples of previous work demonstrating strong focus pulling skills are required. While experience is valuable, we're open to passionate individuals at any stage of their career who can show a solid understanding of the role. This will be a 1-2 day shoot, with principal photography planned for the second half of November 2026. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $300-$500 per day, depending on experience. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set.
