Our independent production is seeking a talented Colorist to join our post-production team for an upcoming feature-length documentary. This project explores the vibrant world of Austin's independent music scene, focusing on the intimate stories of emerging artists. We're looking for someone who can help us achieve a warm, authentic, and slightly gritty aesthetic that complements the raw energy and emotional depth of our subjects. Your work will be crucial in shaping the visual tone and enhancing the storytelling of this film. Key responsibilities include color grading raw documentary footage, ensuring visual consistency across various locations and lighting conditions, and collaborating closely with our editor and director to realize the film's intended look. You should have experience with professional grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve) and ideally possess your own grading setup.
