DIT, Feature Film (Deferred Pay)

Feature Film Color Grading London, UK any Budget: Deferred pay

Seeking a dedicated DIT (Digital Imaging Technician) for an upcoming independent feature film. This project is a gritty psychological thriller set in contemporary London, exploring themes of memory, paranoia, and urban isolation. It's a character-driven piece with a strong visual style, relying heavily on mood and atmosphere. We're looking for someone meticulous to handle our digital workflow. You'll be responsible for managing all on-set data, including ingesting footage from multiple cameras, performing quality control, creating dailies, and ensuring secure backup and archiving. This involves setting up and maintaining the DIT cart, monitoring video signals, and providing basic color management during the shoot to match the director and DP's vision. We're open to DITs at any stage of their career, as long as you're organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for indie filmmaking. You should have your own DIT cart or equivalent setup (laptop, drives, monitoring), and familiarity with various camera systems (e.g., Arri, RED, Sony) and DIT software is essential. Please include a brief overview of your experience and any relevant work samples or a reel. Shoot dates are tentatively planned for a 3-week block in September 2026. This is a deferred pay position, common for independent productions, with meals and local travel provided during the shoot. We're a small, passionate crew eager to bring this story to life, and your contribution will be vital.
