Colorist, Documentary Feature (LA)

Hey filmmakers, we're on the hunt for a skilled Colorist for an upcoming independent documentary feature. This isn't your typical talking-heads doc; it's a visually rich story exploring untold histories through archival footage and stunning vérité cinematography. We're looking for someone to help us craft a nuanced, evocative look that enhances the emotional journey of the film. You'll be responsible for color correcting and grading all footage, ensuring image consistency, and delivering final graded media files. We'll need you to have your own DaVinci Resolve workstation and a professional color-calibrated monitor. While we appreciate experience, we're open to working with talented individuals at any stage of their career, so please show us examples of your best work, ideally with narrative or documentary projects. Post-production is slated to begin in late September/early October, with flexible hours that we can discuss. We're offering a flat rate of $250 a day.
