Color Grading for Web Series

Seeking a talented Senior Colorist for our upcoming independent web series, shooting in Berlin in late summer. This is a deferred compensation role, offering a backend percentage. Our project is a gritty, character-driven drama with elements of dark comedy, exploring themes of urban isolation and ambition. We need someone who can help us establish a distinctive visual language that enhances the narrative and mood, moving between stark realism and dreamlike sequences. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the director and DP to develop and execute the series' aesthetic across all episodes, delivering final color grades in precise accordance with our creative vision and technical specifications. You'll need to confidently manage DI workflows, handle complex color correction tasks, and ensure consistency throughout the series. We require a colorist with extensive experience, a strong portfolio demonstrating similar high-quality work, and preferably your own grading suite or guaranteed access to one in Berlin. Proficiency with industry-standard software like DaVinci Resolve is essential. While we don't have a large budget, we are committed to exceptional filmmaking and believe in fair collaboration for artists dedicated to compelling storytelling.
