Colorist for New Orleans Documentary
Hey folks, Antoine here. I'm a camera operator on an exciting independent documentary and we're looking for a talented colorist to join our team in New Orleans. This film dives into the vibrant local arts scene, exploring the resilience and creativity that thrives here. It's a visually driven piece, with a mix of intimate interviews and dynamic vérité footage, so your eye for detail and ability to enhance the visual storytelling will be crucial. We're aiming for a warm, naturalistic look that truly captures the spirit of the city. Your primary responsibility will be color grading our final cut, working closely with the director to achieve the desired aesthetic. We'll need someone with a strong reel demonstrating mid-level experience in documentary or narrative projects. While we'll provide the footage, you'll need to have access to your own professional color grading software and hardware. We're looking at a commitment of approximately 5-7 days of work, likely spread over a couple of weeks, with flexible hours. We're offering a rate of $100-200 per day. Please send your reel and a brief email introducing yourself. We're excited to see your work and bring this story to life!
