Entry-Level Commercial Colorist

Commercial Color Grading Brooklyn, NY entry Budget: $250/day flat

Looking for an entry-level colorist for an upcoming commercial project based in Brooklyn. This spot is for a local artisan food brand, so we're going for a warm, inviting, and slightly rustic look. It's short, punchy, and needs to feel authentic. We're aiming for a premium, appealing aesthetic that really makes the product pop off the screen. Your main gig will be elevating the raw footage, ensuring consistent color temperature, contrast, and overall aesthetic across all shots. You'll be working closely with the director and DP to achieve their vision, so good communication is key. Ideally, you'll have your own color grading workstation and software, like DaVinci Resolve or similar. Please have a portfolio or reel, even if it's student work or personal projects, that shows your eye for color. We're not expecting years of experience, but a solid foundation and a good creative sense are a must. The shoot dates are flexible but looking at late May, early June. We anticipate a few full days of grading, possibly spread out. Compensation is $250 flat per day. We'll handle all project files and delivery specs, you just need to bring your grading skills and a good attitude.
