Senior Colorist, Narrative Short (Paid)

Short Film Color Grading Los Angeles, CA senior Budget: $500-800/day

Hey everyone, Ricky here, Playback Op for an independent production. We're on the hunt for a skilled Senior Colorist for an upcoming dark fantasy short film, think Guillermo del Toro meets practical effects. It's got some really cool creature design and aims for a rich, atmospheric look. We shot on an Alexa Mini LF and need someone who can truly bring out the depth and mood of the footage. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the color grade, working closely with the director and DP to achieve our specific vision, from dailies through final delivery. We're looking for someone with significant experience grading narrative shorts or features, and a strong understanding of color science, LUTs, and proper deliverable workflows. A top-tier reel demonstrating your artistic eye and technical proficiency is a must. Preference will be given to those with their own full grading suite setups (DaVinci Resolve Studio preferred) and monitoring. This is a senior-level, paid gig, $500-800/day, depending on experience. We're based in Los Angeles. Grading dates are flexible but we're targeting a completion window in roughly 4-6 weeks. Looking forward to seeing your work.
