Commercial PD, Northern UK Shoot

Hey everyone, Callum here. We're looking for a talented Production Designer to join our small, independent crew for an upcoming commercial project. This is a punchy, vibrant commercial for a new tech product, aiming for a fun, slightly surreal, and highly aesthetic look. We're shooting in and around Manchester. We need someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into striking visual environments. You'll be responsible for developing the overall visual aesthetic, creating set designs, managing props, and overseeing decoration. Your collaborative spirit will be key in working closely with the Director and DP to bring our vision to life. Ideally, you'll have a few mid-level commercial or music video credits under your belt. A strong portfolio showcasing your design sensibility and problem-solving skills is essential, regardless of specific gear owned. Shoot dates are provisionally set for early/mid-July, roughly 3-4 intense days, with prep beforehand. This is an independent production, so compensation will be deferred (backend percentage). We'll provide materials budgets and support where possible. We're a friendly, hardworking crew, and this is a great opportunity to get some cool work out there.
