Production Design for Feature Film

Hey filmmakers, I'm a cinematographer on an upcoming independent feature and we're looking for a talented Production Designer to join our crew. This is a character-driven drama with elements of a psychological thriller, exploring themes of memory and perception. It's a visually rich story, offering a great opportunity to create evocative and impactful sets and environments. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the director and myself to develop the visual aesthetic of the film, overseeing set decoration, props, and overall production design, and managing your team. We need someone with a strong artistic vision who can work creatively within a tight budget. Mid-level experience in production design for narrative features or high-end shorts is a must. Please have a strong portfolio or reel showcasing your design sensibilities and your ability to bring a story's world to life. We anticipate a 10-15 day shoot, primarily in Los Angeles, starting late October or early November. We're looking for someone who can commit to the pre-production process starting in the next couple of weeks. This is a paid position, offering $100-200 per day, depending on experience. We'll be providing equipment, locations, and a dedicated art department budget. Looking forward to seeing your work!
