Mid-Level Production Designer, Feature Film

Independent production seeking a talented Mid-Level Production Designer for an upcoming character-driven drama feature film. It's a gritty, grounded story with a unique visual language we're really excited about exploring. We're looking for someone creative who can help us build a believable world on a smart budget. You'll be responsible for developing the overall visual concept, supervising the art department, overseeing set design and construction, and managing props and set dressing. Experience working on independent features, particularly dramas, is a must. Please have a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your ability to execute compelling designs within budgetary constraints. We're also looking for someone who brings their own unique style and problem-solving skills to the table. Shoot dates are TBD but tentatively aiming for late Q3 2024. This will be a standard 5 or 6-day work week, approximately 10-12 hours per day during prep and production. This is a deferred payment opportunity with a commitment to pay as soon as financing triggers. All necessary production equipment and materials will be provided.
