Senior Production Designer, Brooklyn Commercial

Hey, filmmakers! I'm Nina, a screenwriter, and I'm looking for a talented Senior Production Designer for an upcoming commercial project based in Brooklyn. This isn't your average commercial; it's got a really cool, slightly quirky, retro-futuristic vibe, think Wes Anderson meets Black Mirror, but for a fun, product launch. We're aiming for a strong visual narrative that really pops and leaves a lasting impression. We need someone to lead the artistic vision for all on-set environments, from conceptualization and mood boards to prop sourcing and set dressing. You'll be responsible for translating our creative brief into tangible, compelling aesthetics, and working closely with the director and DP to make it all happen. Applicants should have a strong portfolio demonstrating their past production design work, especially within commercials or short-form content. Experience with independent productions and a keen eye for detail are a must. While we'll have a budget for materials, your ability to work creatively within constraints is a huge plus. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late July, early August, over 2-3 days, with prep starting a couple of weeks prior. We're offering a rate of $300-500/day, depending on experience. We'll provide a dedicated art department budget, full craft services, and a supportive, collaborative set.
