Web Series Production Designer (Volunteer)

Hey filmmakers, I'm Ricky, a playback op, and I'm looking for a talented Production Designer to join our small, independent web series. We're developing a surreal comedy-drama, think 'Atlanta' meets 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,' following a group of friends navigating bizarre, dream-like scenarios in their mundane L.A. lives. It's truly a passion project with a unique visual style we're excited to bring to life. As our Production Designer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the visual world of our series. You'll be responsible for developing concepts, sourcing props and set dressings, and collaborating closely with the director and cinematography team to create our distinctive aesthetic. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your portfolio and gain hands-on experience in a creative and supportive environment. No specific gear is required, but an understanding of set design, art direction, and a keen eye for detail are a must. Experience working on independent projects or student films is a plus, and please share a reel or portfolio if you have one. Shoot dates are flexible and likely to be across a few weekends in the late summer, early fall, with prep work leading up to it. It's a volunteer position, purely for the love of filmmaking, but we will provide meals and a fun set environment. Let's make something amazing!
