Entry-Level Production Designer, Indie Feature

Hey filmmakers, stunt coordinator Ben here. We're looking for a passionate, entry-level Production Designer for an upcoming independent feature film here in Los Angeles. This is an action-comedy with a grounded, slightly gritty tone, think early Guy Ritchie but with more explosions. We've got some really fun set pieces planned and need someone creative to help bring this world to life. Your responsibilities will include helping to develop the visual style, sourcing props, set dressing, and working closely with our director and myself to execute the overall look. We're not expecting you to own a full warehouse of gear, but an understanding of prop rentals, set construction basics, and art department logistics is a must. Please have a portfolio or reel, even if it's student work, showing your design sensibility and problem-solving skills. Shoot dates are approximately 5 weeks, aiming for late spring/early summer. Hours will be typical film production hours. We're a small, dedicated crew and this is a deferred compensation project, offering a backend percentage. It's a great opportunity to get a feature credit and gain valuable experience on a project with real potential. Let's make some movie magic!
