Line Producer, Commercial (Entry-Level)
Need a Line Producer to jump into a fast-paced commercial shoot with us here in Austin. This is for an independent production, a series of short, snappy spots for a tech product, generally high-energy and visually driven. It's a great chance to get some significant line producing experience under your belt with a supportive and creatively driven team. You'll be primarily responsible for managing the budget, scheduling, logistics, and crew for the shoot days. This includes vendor negotiations, securing locations, coordinating equipment rentals, and generally keeping everything running smoothly and on track. We're looking for someone organized, with good communication skills, and a proactive attitude. You'll be the backbone of our on-set operations. While this is an entry-level position for line producing, we do need someone who understands commercial production workflows. Some set experience in another department is helpful, perhaps in production coordination or AD work. A strong understanding of budgeting and scheduling software (like Movie Magic, though not strictly required) would be a plus. Please share your resume and any relevant project experience. While we're not asking for a line producing reel, telling us about past projects where you managed logistics or finances is a big plus. Shoot dates are approximate, but we're looking at 3-4 days in late June or early July, plus a few pre-production days. Hours will be standard for commercial production, likely 10-12 hour days. Per diem for meals will be provided. Compensation is $500-800 per day, depending on experience.
