Line Producer for Sci-Fi Drama Short (Atlanta)

An independent production is seeking a talented and experienced Line Producer for an upcoming short film, a thought-provoking sci-fi drama that explores themes of memory and identity. This project has a tight narrative, a unique visual style, and a strong festival push planned. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in managing independent film productions to keep us organized and on track. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing all logistical aspects of the production, managing the budget, scheduling, coordinating crew and equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient set. You'll be the backbone of our operation, translating creative vision into practical execution. We require applicants to have at least three years of experience as a Line Producer or Production Manager on narrative short films or similar projects. A strong understanding of independent film budgeting and Georgia film regulations is a must. Please provide a resume outlining your relevant experience. While we aren't looking for specific gear, experience working with modest budgets is key. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late September in the Atlanta area, approximately 5-7 days of principal photography, with additional prep days. Daily hours will be standard 10-12s. We provide all necessary production insurance, permits, and catering. This is a paid position, offering $200-400 per day, commensurate with experience.
