Line Producer, Feature Film (Montreal)

Seeking an experienced Line Producer for an independent, character-driven dramatic feature film shooting in Montreal. This is a gritty, grounded story focusing on urban resilience, with a tight script and strong creative vision. We're looking for someone who can navigate the complexities of indie filmmaking, keeping us on track and on budget without sacrificing the art. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing all logistical aspects of the production, managing crew, negotiating vendor deals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and handling all necessary permits and insurance. Essentially, you'll be the backbone of our shoot, making sure everything runs efficiently from pre-production through wrap. We need a senior level Line Producer, someone with a proven track record on at least 3-4 feature films. Experience specifically with Montreal-based productions is a huge plus. Please provide a resume outlining your relevant feature film experience. Shoot dates are approximately 25 days in late Fall 2024, with flexible pre-production starting 4-6 weeks prior. Expect long but standard production hours. We're offering a flat rate of $250/day. We’ll provide a production office space and all necessary production software.
