Line Producer, NY Pilot

Seeking a talented Line Producer for an upcoming independent pilot production filming in New York City. We need someone ready to jump in and manage all logistical and financial aspects of pre-production, production, and wrap for a tight shoot schedule. This project is a dark comedy drama, think a blend of quirky characters navigating serious, high-stakes situations. It's character-driven, with a unique visual style we're excited to bring to life. Key responsibilities include creating and managing the budget, scheduling, securing locations, hiring crew, managing payroll, and overseeing all production logistics. You'll be the backbone ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. Mid-level experience in line producing for independent film or TV pilots is essential, specifically in New York. You'll need a strong understanding of local resources, union (SAG-AFTRA Micro-Budget Agreement) and non-union guidelines, and a proven track record of bringing projects in on budget. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of pre-production leading into a 5-day shoot, aiming for the last week of October 2026 for principal photography. This is a deferred compensation position (backend percentage), with meals and travel within NYC provided during production.
