Line Producing for Feature Film

Our upcoming independent feature, a character-driven drama with elements of a psychological thriller, needs a talented Line Producer. We're exploring themes of memory, identity, and moral ambiguity, and aiming for a nuanced, intimate tone. We’re a small production company, passionate about compelling storytelling and creating a supportive set environment. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on with a thought-provoking project in New York City. As our Line Producer, you'll be instrumental in managing the budget, scheduling, and day-to-day logistics of the production. Key responsibilities include overseeing all departmental spending, coordinating crew hires, ensuring smooth communication between departments, and managing on-set operations to keep us on track. You'll be working closely with the director and producers to maintain creative vision while adhering to practical constraints. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in line producing or a similar senior production management role on independent features or narrative projects. Strong organizational skills, a cool head under pressure, and a proactive problem-solving attitude are essential. We expect you to be familiar with standard production software and best practices. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000 per week, commensurate with experience. Meals and some local travel will be provided during production.
