Production Feature Film Documentary
Looking to build a passionate production team for a feature length documentary beginning production in March 2027.
I'm directing and serving as cinematographer on this project, which is being produced in partnership with a nonprofit organization. Following completion, we plan to pursue film festival and streaming distribution.
We are currently looking to connect with dedicated collaborators for key positions, including:
• Producers (Lead Producer, Line Producer, Associate Producer, Executive Producer) • Production Manager • Assistant Director • Production Coordinator • Additional Camera Operators • 1st AC • 2nd AC • Gaffer • Key Grip • Grip • Sound Mixer • Boom Operator • Drone Operator • DIT • Production Assistants • Behind the Scenes Photo and Video • Editor • Assistant Editor • Colorist • Sound Designer • Re Recording Mixer • Composer • Motion Graphics Designer • Unit Publicist • Marketing and Social Media • Impact Producer • Distribution and Festival Strategy
The documentary follows blind veterans as they navigate everyday life, independence, identity, and the importance of allowing people with disabilities to choose how they receive assistance. It is an intimate, character driven story with the goal of creating meaningful social impact while delivering a cinematic viewing experience.
At this stage, the budget has not yet been finalized, so compensation and financing will be discussed as the project develops. We are currently looking to connect with talented people who are excited by the story and interested in helping build the project from the ground up.
Principal photography is expected to begin in March 2027, primarily in Mississippi, with portions of the production also expected to take place in Washington, DC.
