Production for Corporate Video

Seeking an experienced editor for a compelling corporate video project, a passion-driven initiative focusing on innovative community development in New Orleans. This isn't your typical corporate piece, it's designed to be dynamic and inspiring, blending documentary storytelling with a polished, professional aesthetic. We aim for a high-quality, impactful short film, approximately 5-7 minutes in length, to be completed as a passion project. We anticipate about 3 weeks of work, starting early September 2026, primarily remote but with potential for occasional in-person collaboration in New Orleans if mutually convenient. This is a volunteer position for a senior editor looking to contribute their expertise to a meaningful local project and expand their portfolio. Deliverables will include a final cut, sound mix, and color grade ready for web and presentation. We are providing all raw footage, a clear story arc, and creative direction. Key responsibilities include assembling footage, incorporating graphics (provided), sound design, color correction, and collaborating on story refinement. You'll need to provide your own editing suite, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro, and have a strong understanding of post-production workflows. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for narrative flow, a good sense of pacing, and experience crafting engaging corporate or documentary content. A strong reel demonstrating your editing capabilities, particularly with a narrative or polished corporate focus, is essential. We'll be available for feedback sessions, but the ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and proactive.
