Production for Web Series

Seeking a Gaffer for an independent sci-fi comedy web series shooting in Chicago during the second half of October 2026. This is a deferred payment opportunity with a backend percentage, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a fun, ambitious project with a committed team. We're developing a quirky, character-driven story about alien tourists exploring Earth's most mundane attractions, aiming for a visual style that balances indie grit with playful retro-futurism. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting setup, working closely with our DP and director to bring our vision to life. This includes managing our small lighting package, rigging, and ensuring proper power distribution. We estimate 5-7 shoot days, likely 10-12 hour days. Please have your own basic lighting kit if possible (C-stands, stingers, small LED panels) and a reel showcasing your previous work.
