Production for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a dedicated Grip to join our small, enthusiastic team for an upcoming comedy web series. This project is a quirky, character-driven comedy with lighthearted humor and a slightly surreal tone, exploring the misadventures of a group of friends navigating modern Los Angeles. It's a fantastic opportunity to collaborate on a fun, creative project with a passionate crew. Key responsibilities include assisting with camera support, setting up and striking lighting equipment, ensuring safety on set, and generally supporting the Cinematography team. You'll work closely with our DP and Gaffer to execute their creative vision. We're looking for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience as a Grip on independent film sets or web series. While we appreciate experience with specific gear, your problem-solving skills and a positive attitude are most important. Please have your own basic grip kit (gloves, basic tools, etc.) as we will be renting specialized equipment. A reel or list of past projects is a plus. Shoot dates are anticipated for approximately 5-7 days spread across mid October 2026, primarily on weekends or flexible weekdays, with 8-10 hour days. This is a volunteer position, but we will provide meals, snacks, and a copy of the finished series for your reel. Come help us bring this hilarious story to life!
