Senior 1st AC, Web Series, Brooklyn (Nov 2026)

We need a Senior 1st AC for an upcoming independent web series shooting in Brooklyn, starting early November 2026. This project is a darkly comedic thriller with a unique visual style, blending gritty realism with moments of surreal beauty. We're aiming for a high-quality, cinematic look for an online audience. You'll be responsible for all camera department prep, managing focus during principal photography, maintaining camera equipment, and overseeing continuity for about 3 weeks of work. This is a crucial role for ensuring our vision is captured precisely. We're looking for someone with extensive experience as a 1st AC on narrative productions, a keen eye, and a strong understanding of various camera systems. Please have your own follow focus, matte box, and essential camera tools. A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating your focus pulling skills and experience is essential. Compensation is $2000-3000/week, based on experience. We'll be shooting approximately 10-12 hour days, 5 days a week. We will provide the main camera package (likely an Arri Alexa Mini LF) and lenses. Parking will be provided at base camp.
