Senior Editor, Documentary Series

Hey everyone, Fatima here. I'm helping a fantastic independent production put together the finishing touches on a compelling documentary series. We're telling a powerful story about environmental activism, focusing on resilience and grassroots efforts. It's a character-driven piece, really cinematic, with a hopeful yet urgent tone. We're looking for a senior editor who can truly craft a narrative, somebody with a real feel for pacing and storytelling in the documentary space. You'll be responsible for assembling rough cuts, fine cutting, working closely with the director on story structure, and incorporating feedback. We need someone with significant experience editing long-form documentaries, a great eye for detail, and the ability to work independently. Please have your own editing suite and software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro. We're aiming to begin post-production in late summer, early autumn, so flexible hours initially but it will become full-time as we get deeper into the edit.
