Sound Design for Music Video

We are an independent production team looking for a talented mid-level Sound Designer to join our upcoming music video project. This video is for an emerging indie artist and features a surreal, dreamlike narrative style, blending atmospheric sounds with punchy, impactful effects to complement the track's experimental electronic vibe. We need someone who can truly elevate the visual storytelling through sound. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing all sound effects, foley, and atmospheric elements, as well as mixing and mastering the final audio track to broadcast standards. You'll work closely with the director to realize the sonic landscape of the piece. Applicants should have at least 3-5 years of professional sound design experience, preferably on music videos, short films, or similar narrative content. You should be proficient with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) and possess your own studio or professional-grade equipment necessary for high-quality sound design and mixing. A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your creative sound design and mixing abilities is essential. This is a paid position at $250/day flat rate. We anticipate post-production to begin in October 2026, with an estimated workload of about 7-10 days spread across that month. All necessary video assets and creative direction will be provided.
