VFX for Pilot

When a brilliant scientist makes a groundbreaking discovery, she unwittingly becomes the target of a shadowy organization determined to steal her work. We're looking for a skilled Rotoscoper to join our independent production team for an upcoming thriller pilot, helping us bring complex visual effects to life. Your primary responsibility will be precise roto work on various shots, separating elements for compositing. We're seeking someone with a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of roto principles. While this is an entry-level, volunteer position, an existing reel showcasing your roto skills is essential. Proficiency in Nuke, Silhouette, or Mocha would be a huge plus, but we're open to other industry-standard software. You'll be working remotely, but ideally, you're based in the Vancouver, BC area for potential in-person collaboration. We anticipate needing about 10-15 hours per week over a 3-4 week period, starting mid-June, with some flexibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience on a compelling project, expand your network, and contribute to a professional-quality piece for your resume. While an unpaid passion project, we offer a collaborative and supportive environment, and credit will be provided.
