VFX Artist for Dark Pop Music Video

Seeking a talented Mid-Level VFX Artist for an indie music video shoot in Manchester around late July/early August. This is a co-producer credit plus backend partnership opportunity, perfect for someone looking to build their reel with a visually driven project. Our upcoming music video for a dark pop track needs some impactful visual effects to elevate its surreal, slightly unsettling aesthetic. Think subtle enhancements, atmospheric additions, and some stylized distortion rather than huge blockbuster explosions. Your main responsibilities will include working closely with the director to conceptualize and execute a range of visual effects, from compositing and green screen keying to creating abstract digital elements and motion graphics. We're looking for someone who can bring creative solutions and a strong understanding of visual storytelling. Ideally, you'll have your own workstation and software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Blender etc.) and a solid reel showcasing your previous work, especially anything with a similar dreamlike or intense vibe. We'll be shooting over 2-3 days, likely long days, with additional time for post-production VFX work. We'll provide a dedicated workspace for post-production if needed, and all necessary footage and assets, of course.
