VFX for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a talented Senior VFX Compositor to join our team for an upcoming sci-fi web series. This project is a gritty, near-future drama with a focus on practical effects blended with subtle, impactful digital enhancements. We're looking for someone who can help bring our vision of a technologically advanced yet decaying world to life through seamless integration of various visual elements. Your primary responsibilities will include keying, rotoscoping, tracking, color grading, and integrating 2D/3D elements into live-action footage. We need someone who can work independently and solve complex visual problems creatively. You should have a strong understanding of Nuke (or similar professional compositing software), a keen eye for detail, and a portfolio demonstrating your expertise. While we don't expect you to provide a full workstation, a reliable laptop with necessary software is a plus. We anticipate approximately 10-15 hours per week for 8-10 weeks, with flexible scheduling. This is a volunteer position offering screen credit and meals during concentrated work periods in our San Francisco studio space.
