Web Series Colorist (Entry)

Hey Austin film community, I'm Bryce, a Production Sound Mixer here in town. I'm working on an exciting new web series and we're looking for an entry-level Colorist to join our team. It's a dark comedy, think a blend of awkward social situations and surprisingly heartfelt moments. We've got some great performances and solid visuals, and we need someone to really elevate the look and help define the tone through color. You'll be responsible for all color correction and grading, working closely with the director and DP to achieve a consistent and impactful aesthetic across all episodes. You\'ll need your own color grading software (DaVinci Resolve or similar) and a calibrated monitor. While this is an entry-level position, a strong reel demonstrating your understanding of color theory and grading principles is essential. We're looking to start post-production in late summer, early fall, so we can be flexible on exact dates. This is an independent production, so we're offering a partnership opportunity: co-producer credit and backend participation.
