Green Seal Certs at Sundance: Creative Impact?

Hey everyone, I'm genuinely curious about something that's been on my mind. I've been seeing more and more buzz about festivals like Sundance requiring EMA Green Seal certification for submissions. As a cinematographer, I'm all for sustainable practices, and on my last project, an indie drama shot mostly on an ALEXA Mini LF with SkyPanel X lights, we made a real effort to source responsibly and minimize waste. It was a learning curve, for sure. But this move towards mandatory certification has me wondering: how do you all see this evolving requirement impacting our creative freedom and the kinds of stories that get production greenlit in the next five years? Will it lean heavily into projects that naturally lend themselves to eco-friendly production, or will it spur innovation across the board? I'm particularly interested in narratives that might be inherently complex or require specific, less 'green' workflows. What are your thoughts on this, from both a creative and logistical standpoint?
