AI Music: From Temp to Primary Score for Indies?

I'm Mateo, a Color Timer, and I've been thinking a lot about the future of film scoring, especially for indie productions. I recently worked with a director who, on a tight budget, used AIVA for some of the temp tracks on his short. We were shooting on a C70 with a few PavoTube II 30X lights, and the results for the temp were actually pretty decent, surprisingly so, for a quick turnaround.

Traditionally, AI music generators have been seen as 'temp score' tools, placeholders until a real composer comes in. But with the rapid advancements I'm seeing, especially with tools like AIVA and Soundraw, I'm genuinely curious.

Do you see these AI music generators evolving from being just temp track solutions to becoming primary scoring solutions for indie films within the next five years? I'm talking about feature-length projects, where budgets are tight, but the need for a compelling score is still huge. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
