How have AI and virtual production changed your tech stack and bidding?

Hey everyone, Sofia here. I'm a location scout, and lately, I've been really grappling with how quickly the industry is changing. I'm currently on a project scouting for a sci-fi short, and the director keeps bringing up these incredible virtual environments he’s seen, along with AI-generated visuals. It’s got me thinking. Our usual workflow involves a lot of on-the-ground scouting, drone footage, and then presenting mood boards and detailed photo sets. We even got a 3D scanner last year to help sell some trickier spots. But with tools like Runway Gen-3 and Unreal Engine seemingly making such huge leaps, I’m genuinely wondering how other companies are adapting. Specifically, in the last 18 months, how has your company's tech stack evolved to integrate these new capabilities? And more importantly, how has it impacted your bidding process to stay competitive? We're trying to figure out if we need to invest in new software or even specialized personnel.
