Mapping the Master to the Minute: My Pre-Call Sheet Breakdown Prep

I've started using a more detailed 'pre-call sheet' breakdown for blocking and shot listing, especially on multi-camera sequences. Instead of just listing the masters and then hoping the coverage flows, I'll literally draw out anticipated camera positions for the master, then immediately follow with potential positions for close-ups and two-shots, all on the same page of my script. What worked surprisingly well was color-coding the master (blue), medium shots (green), and tight shots (red) directly on the script page itself, with little arrows indicating movement or re-frames. This visual map helps me anticipate lens changes and re-marks far more efficiently than just a written list. What didn't work as well was trying to do this in a digital document; the tactile nature of pen and paper, being able to quickly sketch and erase, proved invaluable. It made me realize how much of focusing is anticipating the flow of coverage, not just individual shots. Has anyone found a digital tool that truly replicates the fluidity of sketching out shot breakdowns on a physical script?
