Vintage Anamorphic + IBIS = Jello? Diagnosis help needed!

Miguel here. I'm hitting a wall with a new setup and hoping some of you have experience with this specific challenge. I'm trying to incorporate a beautiful vintage anamorphic lens (a rare Russian one I picked up) with my AMIRA, which has IBIS enabled.

Everything looks fantastic on a tripod, but as soon as I get any kind of movement (even just a slight pan) I'm getting this awful 'jello effect' or subtle warping that really distorts the image. It's not a shake, more like a rubbery ripple.

I've tried adjusting the IBIS intensity settings on the AMIRA, turning it down incrementally, and even tried a few different IBIS modes, but the problem persists to varying degrees. I'm wondering if it's a conflict between the anamorphic stretch and the IBIS stabilization algorithm, or something else entirely.

What are the first steps you'd take to diagnose and then ideally fix this 'jello effect' or warping when pairing a vintage anamorphic lens with a camera that has IBIS?
