Streamlining QC for Fast-Track Edits: Your Strategies?

I'm finding myself at a bit of a crossroads with our internal QC guidelines, especially on smaller, faster-turnaround projects. The established guide outlines a really formal, multi-stage QC process with strict naming conventions, which is fantastic for large-scale commercial spots shot on an AMIRA or VENICE 2, where we've got weeks for post and thorough reviews.

But for projects like quick social media cuts, or corporate explainers shot on an FX6 or even a Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 with just a couple of M18s and tight deadlines, adhering to every single step feels like it bogs us down. We're still delivering quality, but sometimes I feel like we're reinventing the wheel to meet a process built for a different scale. I've tried consolidating some steps and creating 'lite' versions of our naming conventions, but I'm always worried about missing something crucial down the line.
