Hey everyone, Noah Sterling here, motion graphics artist by trade, but I often dabble in the full post pipeline for smaller commercial projects shot on my ALEXA Mini or a borrowed V-RAPTOR XL. I'm curious about how your personal dialogue editing process has evolved, especially with the rise of AI tools.

I've been using iZotope RX for years for basic noise reduction on my MKH 416 recordings, but with the newer modules, it feels like there's a lot more potential. I'm also starting to experiment with performance matchers like Revoice Pro, mainly for syncing dialogue on takes where the camera operator moved off the subject too quickly or for slight tone adjustments.

My tried-and-true method for trickier situations has always involved meticulous ADR blending. I'm talking careful EQ matching, room tone generation, and subtle reverb to make the new lines sit. But I'm finding myself wondering if I'm missing out on a more efficient or superior workflow by not fully integrating these AI/performance tools more deeply.
