Line Producer, Indie Feature Film NYC

We're gearing up for an independent dramatic feature film, a character-driven story with a gritty, naturalistic tone set in contemporary Brooklyn. It's a passion project with a strong script and an experienced indie director attached. We're looking for a sharp, mid-level Line Producer to join our team. You'll be instrumental in developing and managing the production budget, creating detailed schedules, overseeing logistics, securing locations and permits, and negotiating vendor contracts. We need someone who can keep us on track creatively and financially, ensuring a smooth principal photography phase and post-production. You'll be working closely with the director and producers to translate our creative vision into a practical, actionable plan. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience Line Producing independent features or significant short films, particularly in New York City. Strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication are essential. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to make the most of limited resources. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for fall 2024, approximately 4-5 weeks of principal photography, with prep starting in late summer. This is a day rate position, $300-500/day, commensurate with experience. We're a small, dedicated team and welcome someone who can jump in and contribute significantly.
