Entry-Level Line Producer, Feature Film (Austin)

Hey filmmakers, we're on the hunt for an enthusiastic entry-level Line Producer for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Austin. This is a dramatic thriller with supernatural elements, a real character-driven piece that we're all super passionate about. We need someone ready to jump in and manage the daily logistics, keeping everything on track from budgeting to scheduling to liaising with department heads. You'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth production. We're looking for someone with a basic understanding of film production pipelines, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude. Experience as a PA or having worked on a student film in a producing capacity is a plus, but we're open to fresh talent ready to learn. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at early fall 2024, approximately 18-20 days. This is a deferred compensation role, offering points in the film plus a deferred fee that will be paid from the film's initial revenue.
